I had a friend with a Plymouth Road Runner back in about 1967. It was loud and proud. Riding in it in the passenger seat was about like ....seemed at the time... about like riding in a rocket ship. No such car ever made by Japanese or Koreans that I know of ever existed.
Now days outside of a few special editions like the SVT Ford GT's and the now and again Ford Cobra Mustangs the muscle car is over and done.

I don't think I ever checked the mileage on a car until long after I was married. I had a 1959 Pontiac
Star Chief when I got married, it had a 389 in it, not great off the line, but once you got rolling, it had
some looooong legs.
It would pass anything but a gas station.........

You really need to put a warning on these.... (Especially before breakfast.)

So Australia is the 'Lucky Country', we don't claim that it's perfect.
