Looks like a deal. $880 and $1008. Might be something reproduction or not so desirable about them. Or... the supply at the moment exceeds demand.

Well.... how's your mad money doing? I got a P38 made August of 1944. They don't bring nearly as much as the Luger. And mine has been somewhat cleansed of marks by some Commie country at some juncture after the war.
