Reich revolver model 1879, also known as Trooper or Cavalry Model. Six shots, caliber 10.55 mm Round barrel with bead in the muzzle, with thunder sides, dated 1882. Frame stamped with S&S V.C.S.C.C.H. Suhl. ( A consortium of Saur & Sons, V.C. Schilling and C.G. Haunel) Nickle plated. All matching numbers in very good condition for its age.
It has no military or state markings which would be seen next to the serial number on the LHS of the barrel so I think it is actually a Bank revolver.
I am selling it for a friend here - 1900€ / £1720 / $2225.

Interesting. Think it was a bank dicks pistola? Went looking in a 10 year old Standard Catalog of firearms. Not much of an indicator of value after ten years. Funny thing.... it doesn't say what caliber it is either.
