Steyr SSG69 / ZF84 Kahles

Post by Miller Tyme » Sun May 09, 2021 8:45 pm

Spent this past weekend in Paris Tenn. attending the Henry County Gun Club Vintage Sniper Rifle World Championship and came home with another toy, a virtually NIB 1986 Steyr SSG69 w/ Kahles ZF84 scope. Really looking forward to getting this to the range and doing a shoot out with my M40

I had to look that one up. Austrian military sniper rifle. Correct scope. 7.62x51 NATO round. Rear locking lugs. Used by police as well as military.

Nice.

Which one of your sniper model rifles of the various nationalities shoots the best for you?

The one that shots the best is my Remington SSA M40, but it is a reproduction, original military, it has to be either my Swiss ZFK55, or my Czech VZ54/91.
