Shot my PP and MAK today

Post by Niner » Wed Nov 16, 2005 10:17 pm

Took the 25 mile, or whatever it is, trip to the new range today. I shot my Manurhin pp. in 7.65mm and my Makarov. The Mak was made on the Walther design , as you know, but the looks are something else. The two together look as different as a 55 Plymouth and a 57 T Bird. But... that ugly Mak holds it's own in the shooting department. Looks have nothing to do with function.

Hey, Niner

I've got a couple of the Mak.s and they are very accurate shooters. And they stay accurate out to 15 yards.

Ive also got the CZ 83 and 82's these things are very accurate shooters also.

And don't sell short the CZ52's. I've got a couple of them and I've got one that will shoot under an inch at ten yards(that's about as for as I can see). The CZ82's have polygonal barrels and they like the heavier bullets
That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

Thanks for the size comparison pic- the Mak is bigger than I thought it was.
