Range day looking doubtful as weather forecast is for 41ºC and that is TOO HOT............

Been having a problem finding very thin paper to patch my bullets with. Then last night, talking to BVlachisler we came up with - Cigarette paper.
Went and bought some today to try and it looks like I might have the answer.

Just a bit tatty at the base but a gob of Prittstick might solve that.

41°C is the same as 105.8°F in the real world. That is too hot to be standing around at the range. ... :D
I would stay home too Duncan. Didn't think it got that hot where you live.

Yes Vern, but that is probably the maximum, this summer has been more 34ºC + in the afternoons - still a good reason to open a beer though!!

Paper patched my cast bullets today.
Needed to be very careful not to tear the paper as it is very thin, only had to redo one :)

Brings back memories for me too; my father used Zig Zag and they were very thin, I used to nick a roll from his tobacco pouch occasionally when I was about ten.
Rolled the first ones so tight you’d need a pump to get them to draw😀😀
