Cooking with Pizzazz

Post by Niner » Mon Jan 20, 2025 11:58 am

A friend of mine that I participate in Skype group chats with mentioned a quicker way to cook up a frozen pizza. The subject came up because on Thursday nights cooking is relegated to fast and easy and not exactly a square meal. Pizza is a usual fall back at my house. There is a faster way than the tried and true heated oven way. This oddball kitchen wonder makes an oven as unnecessary as an air fryer makes boiling oil as a medium for frying unnecessary. There is no wait to warm up and the pizza cooks in half the time. You can even adjust more bottom heat than top for a crisper crust. And.... you can watch in open air as the thing cooks and the tray moves and spins around on it's own.

There are other things you can cook. I just cooked up some cinnamon rolls. Three minutes on top heat and six on dual heat. There are lots of things an oven is better at ....but this thing is quicker for some things that you would normally put in an oven.

There are several different brands of this thing. The one I got was because my friend bragged on his. I understand, from my daughter who read reviews, that there is at least one that has a better review than the one I got. However, it isn't anything I care about if I have the best one or not.
