Thanks for your thoughts Belgmart.I used to load a 115 Gr..321 as cast bullet in a 32-20 case and it is wonderfully accurate but the cases sometimes stick and when they do come out they have a good bulge near the base and sometimes they separate, so I used to have to carry a hook to dig out the upper half. Anyway I can get a 32-20 barrel for 60 bucks and rent a reamer to finish the chamber which is the way to go IMHO. I would have to set back this barrel at least a 1/2" to clean up the bulged area and figured it would be easy if there was no taper to the 310 case. Anyway I will hang on to this barrel in case I want to go back. Thanks again

Is actually a Swiss lightweight set-trigger Martini, built by Weber & Ruesch. The action is Francotte cadet-style, with the forward trigger which acts as the setting trigger (you push it forward to set).

The barrel is fluted, and octagonal, and it is chambered in 38-40. It has a Swiss buttplate and open sights. It is rahter light, but if I do my thing, it will shoot quite nicely - and it looks good too...
