I used to have a bit to do with Anti-tank guns and the biggest that I was qualified to work on was the QF 17 pdr.

Which was a beautiful piece. I once had the satisfaction of hitting a 4ft X 4ft target at2000 yards, which was well within the capability of the gun.
Would have been surprising if I'd missed, given the optical sights and the rock steady platform...bit like bench rest
