Star Model B

Post by Brass Rat » Wed Mar 29, 2006 9:49 pm

I just aquired a Bulgarian contract Star Model B 9x19 off gunbroker.

Bob has been wanting something bigger than his Ruger .22 for steel plate shooting so this should fit the bill.

I started to buy one of these when SOG or AIM had them last year for $259 but I really didn't need a handgun then.

Should have it first of the week.

Does anyone know if 1911 grips will fit on this?

I have had one for years, mine is a post WWII German Police model, has the letters LPN-LandespolizeiNiedersachsen (State Police of Lower Saxony). When, after the War, the Western Allies allowed the German

Police to carry arms, they insisted they not carry German designs. Probably because all the GIs took them for souvenirs.
