Arizona, who's that?
Some gay Greek philosopher perhaps?
I give in on that one.

Laura (my wife) and I will be there, we're doing the 1-300yds .303, Speed Steel, and McQueen on Saturday :-)
Quick question for those more experienced, we've just had the squadding back, and it says pick up issued ammo for the .303 before going to range...
What issued ammo, do we not need our own??

You will be issued with .303" ammunition for the .303" competition, you get it from the range office not the firing point so make sure to collect before hand.
Thats why the entry fee is more expensive than the others.
Its a foot note on the entry form.
We are usually in the Artists from 5 pm onwards. Look forward to meeting you.

I would have been there for the MLAGB's Schutzenfest weekend - 600yd Friday/50m and 100m Saturday/900 & 1000yds Sunday. The MLAGB normally books the whole of Short Siberia range for the Saturday. The NRA couldn't accomodate the event this year (after 25+ years) as they want to use part of Short Siberia range for slug gun shotgunners I believe.
The MLAGB moved their event to last weekend and much fun was had at Bisley despite the rain. A shame the traders at the Phoenix meeting will loose out as many muzzle loaders (including around 20 shooters from France) won't now be attending the Phoenix meeting.
Enjoy the event.

Any sense of the "politics" behind that decision David?
BTW is the MLAGB thinking of merging into NATSS (National Association of Target Shooting Sports) with the NRA, NSRA and the CPA?

NRA seem to be expanding the Phoenix meeting and decided they needed the range space the MLAGB has used for many years on the same weekend. No sense to me. The MLAGB's 'Schutzenfest' is an open comp and helps diversify further all the shooting sports available. Sadly it looks like the meeting may get pushed out... have to see what happens next year.....
The MLAGB has expressed an interest in the amalgamations the NRA has been pushing for but discussions to date seem to be between NRA/NSRA/CPSA.

I shall be up for LERA's AGM in the Army Club House on Saturday afternoon.
I'm working that day but hopefully will have time to find a couple of boxes of Sierra Match King's and some other bits.
I will try and look you out Adam, although if you have'nt had chicken pox you may not want to meet up as I'm currently suffering from shingles, and yes it's as painful as they say!
