Here is an outside view of the extensive social amenities of The Highland Hunting and Target Club's range at Glen Innes.

The occasion was a very successful Open Day with 30 potential shooters turning up and thoroughly enjoying themselves.

A couple will have to be refused membership however as they shot far too well

Eoin,

I can only agree (in a quietly biased manner) that our shooting facilities are far superior to those of our British brethren.

Ah, one of your famous British summer days (out of this years allocation of three), glad to see you putting it to good use.

The picture was taken last winter so the range wasn't hot, just a pleasant 15 degrees.

This is rather primative for an American range....but no out houses and it has plenty of benches and tables and green grass and 100 and 200 yard ranges... and a pistol range.

Just looking at Warner520s pics and a thought ocurred the amount of milsurps on the firing point Its the same over here whenever I go to a shoot the majority of people are shooting milsurps not fancy expensive go faster stuff and they still do the buisness and they are so much more intresting.

Just a thought.

I do like a good tin shed, corrie (Corrugated Iron) is hard to get now a days unfortunatley as I could really do with some up the allotment.

I notice that the Gentlemans netty is larger than the Ladies netty, do we speculate or is there an obvious reason that I've missed?

Graeme I still think that your Catterick photo has a clean, austere, bracing and frigid charm all its own that is lacking in the other photos.

Aye Dave plenty of milsurps as the american cousins say but fortunatley not any MAS's.
