Got first target from Archfluffy.

For scoring note. If you hit the paper outside of the 6 ring, score 5 points for each hit when totaling score. The black center ring counts as 10. The other rings count as marked. Above target score 78.

I can barely see the target on my puter. And you say it has to be 50 of one or the other..I may try all of the Mosins and see which one does the best.. I hope that is OK.

You have plenty of time to get another 10 posts in Paddy

No Paddy doesn't have more time to qualify for this match by raising his post count to the minimum number. Rules are rules and there was a reason I put that rule in...and it wasn't aimed at Paddy but all potential lurker entries.

Duncan...you have fallen into the dreaded, " like Niner, who often doesn't read things right", syndrome. "Before the contest begins" is the key phrase. It began yesterday.

Now if anybody wants to participate in the next contest...and there is a number of previous posts rule....it might be a good idea to start posting something.

I actually know Paddy Walker. Talked to him only last Thursday night. I'll have send him an email to make sure he knows it isn't personal.

You can't take it personal when the rules were posted on March 31st.

"Paddy" isn't upset. He understands. Maybe he will get to posting here and tell us about the several Mosins he got in the last few months.

I got to thinking maybe I should have started the rules with the famous quote from Barney Fife:

THE RULES . I read them,I heard them and the time ran out.Being new to this site gives me ample chances to screw up..I just hope that this group is mature enough to realize when I do get all warm and fuzzy on the site I'm going to center shoot that target with one of them old Mosins..You can take that to the bank..LOL.
