Vern...come East some time and we'll go fishing.
Now, back to the matter at hand. Duncan I like the second choice. Enough black to see. I vote we use it. And to keep the American and European shooting at the same size target use the A4 original size setting. I have no idea what the Australians use but has to be the same as either the American or European version. One edge of the outside ring goes white American style printer but the small area where it should appear is obvious and can be used for counting purposes if necessary by any shooter.

I printed them both and neither one cut the edge of the outer circle.
However there is a very slight variation in the size of the 2 outer black rings,
increasing towards the outer ring and at most 3/16ths at the outside of
the outer ring.
Outside of outer ring is..... A4 = 7 1/2" and the letter is 7 5/16".
I used Microsoft Office Picture Manager to print the targets, what are
you others using? The one that has the side cut off, what is the OD of the outer
ring measuring it top to bottom?
.

Because it is a jpeg file I open and print it in Photoshop.
A4:
Outer ring edge is 192mm OD
6 Ring is 22mm thick
7 Ring is 20mm thick
8 Ring is 22mm thick
9 Ring is 20mm thick
Bull is 23mm thick.

So your 192mm is 7.55" in real length, that's close enough.............
If we all print the A4, it should work OK. After all, we shoot for fun, not money......

And it's a darn good thing nobody here shoots for money.

Well.....most of us. Joseyclosey has shown some actual skill from time to time. Prabably are a few others who can shoot day in and day out like an expert....but not many. I'd like to think that whoever wins will be likely to have won out of having a lucky outing more than expert skill.
