I wonder how she avoided running over some of those small boats that crowded her course? The helmsman couldn't have seen where he was going except by compass or GPS , could he? Maybe there was one of those camera's in the bow and he could see forward with it and avoid running over a few of them.

Never knew there were that many ropes that make up the rigging. A lot more on real
ships than on the Hollywood "ships".
Great photos, a very impressive debut................ :D

That lady in the video pronounces "frigate" as "Frig... gate " as in garden gate". The way I'd pronounce it as more like "Frig. get". Is that a French pronunciation of an English word or is that a English pronunciation of of a French word? Or am I just hearing things? :loco:

There was quite a write up in the local paper, too bad it isn't coming to the left coast,
