I posted in another thread about my buddy and I taking our SKS's up to the woods,
but I also took my 91/30 along. The seller did replace the collar on the tanker muzzle
brake and I also re-tapped the holes and put in stainless steel screws. Fired about 10
heavy ball, 15 light ball and 25 low recoil through it and the muzzle brake was still there.
However, it did try to escape, the ss screws did bend but held. So I guess I'll just keep
shooting it and if it blows off again, will try something else.
Between the muzzle brake and the Pachmayr chicken pad, my neck did very well, even
after a few heavy ball.

Wow just shows how powerful a round it is. Reloading is the way to go you don't need all that power. You could down load a much pleasanter round to shoot.
