Pedersoli's kit costs about €120 / $130 - my home made one cost €7,50 / $8

Well, I have used the Big 45 Frontier rust remover on the barrel of my Kabul M-H and here is the result. It took me about 4 minutes scrubbing and 5 minutes with a cleaning rag and Ballistol.

As before, looking from the breech to the muzzle......
Quite a difference.
I still need to get the light balance right for the endoscope images but for €7,50 I am quite satisfied.

Glad the Big Frontier got to you and that you are happy with it. I was wondering if it would be worth the cost.

I decided to finish the clean and re assembly of this monster so I can have some room on the work bench
First I used the polish that I made for the Schmidt-Rubin on the wood to see how it worked - very good result so am now getting rid of the rust where possible and putting it back together. Should

make a novel wall hanger..............
Pics will follow.

I was wondering what the end of this string would be about. I'd forgotten all about your having this relic. Surprised that you waited this long to put it back together.
