I find it strangely amusing that the ones who have made such a complete balls up of running the UK and have done so since they got in control about 9 years ago are nearly all Scots. Now if they want to play at it and mess this up then by all means do so but North of the Border

If you want to be pedantic, the "Greek" bit of the Royals is merely displaced Danish (I believe the Greek throne went to one of the Children of the last Frederick of Denmark of the 19th Century - (Fred IX or X, I think), another son got Norway (much to the annoyance of the Swedes who'd had the place up until Independence).

Without some skullduggery afoot there is no way that Bastard Blair and Co got in fairly, strange how the postal vote came in after Blair's minions witnessed how Mugabe fiddled it And as cotland has it's own Parliment, it should not be allowed for Scotsmen the be in Westminster unless they renounce all rights to vote in Scotland. But that will never happen of course as Blair would be out on his big ears.

The constitutional arguement around the Scottish and Welsh parliaments is very interesting and depressing indeed.

Effectively you cannot have devolved government until the whole country is devolved, the "West Lothian Question".

In the 1997 Labour Party manifesto the devolution process was poorly thought out and the West Lothian Question fudged with the sop of regional assemblies for England, England doesn't want them see the vote in the North East here a year ago.

Undoubtably Scotland and to a lesser extent Wales, less institutions so therefore less able to take advantage of devolution as Scotland, have benefitted from this in a way that England won't, the two representational bites at the democratic cherry arguement is valid and unfotunately the only way it will work now unless full devolution and independance is given, the break up of the union.

The interesting speculation of this constitutional cock up gets worse the more you think about it.

Generally speaking over the past three elections it is safe to say that in England the populace is right of centre and in Scotland the populace is left of centre, the two parliaments reflect this even although one is formed on proportional representation and the other is formed by first past the post constituency voting.

Now supposing old Gordon does assume the mantle from Bastard Blair, then Britain and more importantly England will have a prime minister whose constiuency allegience will be to a Scottish constituency which is part of an independant left of centre government in Scotland making decisions that will directly effect a right of centre population in England who have no "sub national" tier of government to maintain their interests, Britain and especially England will truly have a minority Scottish government.

The poorly thought out devloution case, Blair's lies to parliament and the people about Iraq, the incitement to fear in the population by the government through the crime and terror agendas and the legislation they are bringing in on the back of it especially ID cards. Means, that in the space of nine years Bastard Blair and his arse wipe chohorts have erdicated all that is of democratic value in the country which it took this nation centuries to establish.

This has not been achieved through political ideology but through pure stupidity, the people that are in parliament now in the main do not have the intelligence for the the task, that is our problem.

I do not envy my childrens future.

I don't know who it is, but it's certainly not the Queen. Or Princess Margaret. Or any of the well-known ones.
