Have had a problem with the eye relief on the scope I wanted to use on the Savage. Now all sorted and ready for the range - maybe a week on Sunday..............

At the range with it this afternoon.
Magic!
It took me 8 rounds to get the scope sorted but it shoots beautifully ......

I got the day wrong, the shoot was yesterday 15/4/2018, fortunately, I woke up before going to the range.
Sunny day, range 50 metres, aperture sight, gusty and strong wind (that's my excuse on the Fox

)
Both shot without my specs

now in my 85th year
There were six of us shooting Iron Sights and I came last, still, I'm quite happy to be last with a 95 score.

Participation is 100% enjoyment for me as I can just see well enough to make sure I am shooting on my own target

Eoin, that's some good shooting at any age.
