The only k98k I have is a Yugo reworked that I love. It's old and scared like me, but,fortunitly it shoot's great. The Yugo's scrubed it prety good, but inscribed a nice crest and left the mil surp matching with a VG bore.

The crack-free stock has a slight redish cast on the lamanited wood, with a lot of black repaires to remove hunks of scharap metal. I like the k98k's but I can not afford their cost... I've noticed the prices are decressing on many of the Germain Wartime Mausers, so I maybe I'll be able to snach a less expensive one in the near future.
