That was nice of you. However, I'm not looking to put much money in it at all if I should find one. I think I saw one that sold for about $250 on a very brief curiosity google search. That is out of reach of me even considering it.

That rear sight. Yikes.
You'd have to decided if you really want to restore a rifle you might not really want. I have a thing for Swiss rifle otherwise I wouldn't have ever bought my two.
I wonder what they did to the old sight? Just damage it so bad it had to come off?
