Looks exquisite Eoin, almost two clean and you could cut your finger on that rifling!

I was going to ask you for some info , maybe some French sites have more on him.
I can work my way through technical French terms, having had some practice at Cockatoo Dockyard when we were building HMAS “Supply”.
It was a French design and the Government didn’t insist in the contract that plans and notes be in English, so the French fulfilled the contract by sending everything in the original.
A consequence was that two French Naval Officers spent a lot of time in Australia and at our expense🤒😀😀
