... no sizing at all, with the bullet loose on top of the compressed powder. But then you have to seat it out to touch the rifling, otherwise you'll miss some initial resistance. After all, the boreriding section will get you good bullet-to-bore alignment.
Neck tension is just another variable which can really affect accuracy (hard brass, softer brass, thickness etc.).
Good to hear you had good results with the NASA design - I am also seriously looking towards purchasing one of those... Should work really well in the 45-70, but no real need for it in the 500/450 #2 though, at about 90grs of no. 4 uncompressed!
The best I got is the target below - admittedly only at 75m, with my 45-70, 10 shots:
