Tell me about it!

Post by DuncaninFrance » Wed Jun 27, 2007 11:30 am

Better news now though.

Have ordered a set of re-loading dies for 8x57 which will load 8x60 by adding a 10cent piece to the set up. Also ordered 500 Partizan bullets for about 49€/£34/$66

Can't get any brass till end Augustish so will have to shoot 20 then race home and re-load them!

Things are getting better

Provided you get it back together without any left over bits

Looking forward to some info as well, as what I know about these is probably less than Duncan

THIS MORNINGS TARGET

Post by DuncaninFrance » Sun Jul 01, 2007 7:04 am

http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f392/ ... Y-07-1.jpg[/pic]

These were the last 7 rounds of 20. The target was at 100mtrs and was a 200mtr target. Fired from prone unsupported.

Ammo:- NORLASCO 8x60S FMJ 196grains / 12.7 grammes. All 20 rounds were scoring rounds so not too bad for the first time out.

Will be re-loading this week I hope with lighter round and Tubal 3000 powder. Rifle worked perfectly and no jams. Bore is crisp and clean. Just need some ammo clips to make it even easier.

I have to admit to having a problem with my varifocal glasses so may investigate an appature sight. Anyone have any info?
