John my Greener takes the standard 2 3/4" cartridges and it would be one of the later ones. I have examined quite a few over the years and they have all taken the 2 3/4 " cartridges.
Had one offered to me

The chap I bought my G98 Mauser and WO Trainer from phoned me yesterday and asked if I wanted to buy his Greener GP. It is a Mark II that he bought new 30 odd years ago and has fired less than a box af cartridges through it. I have seen it and it is in unmarked, like new condition. I would like it but the money tree is still a bit bare from the Carcano and Arisaka purchases. I don't think that I would ever make use of it, though it would be nice for the collection. He is asking £130 for it. I told him I would think about it and let him know later if I am going to have it.
Regards
Peter.

Stretch yourself, £130 is a little OTT but for a perfect example its worth getting as an investment.
As an aside I was at Tangmere this last week and they had RJ Mitchells shotgun on display. A rather workmanlike Cogswell and Harrison. I suspect even without the connection it would be worth a few hundred quid. Just need to get the surface rust of the action!
