I THINK I'm in but have to read it all again - just after I kick a certain Scotsman up the arse with my size 46 boot while his head is in the IMPERIAL sand!!!

I would like to have a go. Upcoming range meetings and distances would mean I'd have to shoot all six in October on the same day but that seems to be ok with the rules. I'll be trying to arrange it , count me, my K31 and GP11 in.

PS: Are the photo's sent as an attachment to Dromia?

A wee question.

"Rule 11. You can shoot all three rounds, total 6 targets with 12 groups for "score" all in one sitting or stagger it per month I don't care but late entries will not be accepted."

Can I presume 'late entries' refer to after the last month no to each month?

Thanks, John

Just click on my name, it will take you to my profile and you'll get my email address there.

You can shoot them before the monthly deadlines but not afterwards.

Well Duncan I'd never have thought that a patriotic Brit like you would have gone "native". :ENG:

I still think in feet and inches but I have to work in this foreign stuff I find it really difficult.

I have a wee lassie from Aberdeen a Graduate in Chemical Engineering who is so bright it scares me.

She joined the company from university about two years ago we have a deal I help her with the nuts and bolts of the job and in return she translates all this foreign stuff into feet and inches for me.

Unfortunatelly she is that bright that the compay have sent her to Singapore as part of a commisioning team to start up a new Chemical plant.

So I either follow her to Singapore or find a new confidant.

SORRY GUYS IM RAMBLING DRIFTED OFF THE SUBJECT A BIT THERE IM SHOWING MY AGE ME THINKS.

Rule Ammendments

Just a couple of ammendments/items of clarification mainly to take account of peoples range availability.

1. Groups can also be shot at distances greater than 100yrds and then dived the group size e.g. a 3" group shot at 300 yrds would be a 1" group for "score".

2. If range time is a real problem then I will waive the deadlines to accomodate but do let me know in advance along with the dates when the cards will be shot.

Remember this competion is just a bit of fun to get us out there shooting these classic rifles that we love.

Its the participating, sharing and good crack thats important not the winning, although thats nice too. :D

The reason I've put rounds in this competition is that it gives you chance to compete with yourself by trying to improve on each round.

So go on do yourself a favour, sign up, shoot and have a good time.

I'm proposing an autumn competition for military rifles with issue sights and any ammunition.
I trust that my .303 sporting is OK for the Enfield No:4 and my 8x60s is OK for the Mauser K98k?
