just when I was smugly congratulating myself on being a clever lad and putting the group sizes on the targets (AS REQUESTED SIR, YES SIR) I noticed I'd cocked up on the number of targets for Sept. For reasons I don't quite follow I've shot the Sept ones as one target (which they are) and the rest as two targets.
So Adam, maaaaaaaaaate, will that be a problem ?

I think the fact of not having access to a centerfire range and being only able to shoot my rimfires has helped a bit with my shooting. My current best is a .587" group at 50m off the bench with the No 8, not world beating but I'm happy with it.
Having a completely enclosed range helps as well. In fact the only complaint with the range I became acquainted with on Friday - I didn't realise the pistol club (with whom the range shares a common wall) were shooting on Friday until I was halfway down range to change targets when I heard rapid pistol fire coming from behind me

Ah well, I wasn't the only one spinning and ducking
BTW Duncan I was wondering if when you wrote this -
Seems like a good incentive to shoot Adam!
Did you mean
1) it was a good incentive to do some shooting or
2) something more sinister ?
Mind you if he ever has the gall to suggests Barry Manilow is an aussie again I'll go with option 2 myself.

Not a problem Graeme so long as I get group sizes I don't care any more.
Nice rifles those No8s, your the only one shooting .22"at present.

My other laptop went CRASH where my pictures are stored and I will have to wait until my brother can pull them from the hard drive in November when he gets here .... Sorry.
I might have to send the targets to Adam personally by snail mail

The way you buggers a shooting Duncan I don't need a flak jacket, if you are aiming at me I'm safe.
