It's in 7.62 x 25, Joe.

The CZ-52 is pretty neat, as it's a delayed roller action, kinda like an HK rifle!

They're dirt cheap over here as well. Under $150 even at retail pricing.

I have two CZ-52's and I handload them with 110 grain M1 carbine bullets. They don't flatten out for over 100 yards and the gun handles it with no problem.

The G3 uses a delayed roller lock system that basically just delays the bolt from opening until the preasure has dropped, the CZ-52 used the same roller locking system that the MG-42 does. The rollers lock the barrel and slide together until the entire barrel and slide move back.

It's the only other weapon that used the MG-42 system.

Like my CZ52 a lot, but it has a few quirks.

With mine, the slide hold open sticks, possibly because of the wood grips, I think. Anybody else have this?

Also got a case of the Romanian from AIM.

Good stuff- fairly clean burning- but I did have one extractor prob. Live round stuck; looked like the rim was thicker on one side than the other.

Hope most of it is OK. Got 1,200 rounds to go!

I sometimes wonder if the quirks are in the pistol and not the ammo. I had some of that South African stuff in the red plastic box that my CZ52 couldn't seem to fire without a double strike on more rounds than I'd like to mention. There had been comments on other forums about the same problem. But ... the same ammo worked without a hitch in my TT33.

This of course is not a rim thickness problem. I haven't tried any Romanian ammo. I would be curious if anybody else is having problems like you mention too.
