Ok, it's all over!

The mail ruinied the stock now beyond repair, now pieces are missing from the wood. I hope I will get my money back and get rid of the now useless metal.

That is very sad and bloody annoying into the bargain Chris. Hope you find a suitable replacement soon :)

Ok, I tightened down teh rear action screw carefully, not to crack the stock more and put the gun on sandbags on the range.

We had -7°C there, ammo was warmed in my hand.

Not too bad considering the weather and my subotimal hold of the rifle.

I think it is worth saving, now I have to wait, till the insurance pays and what a good stockmaker can fix.

thats fixable - and well worth fixing , its a beauty and no ive never seen one before eather , but id not let it go - get a settlement and repair it
