I was just about to buy a beech cheek piece from D S Solutions and they have disappeared from their site! I will e.mail them about it but anyone got any ideas as to an alternative supplier or have an old one lying around that I can buy / borrow to copy? Alternatively, anyone know of one that can be temporarily fixed using Velcro or some suck material?

Duncan you can buy a padded sock sort of thing that slides over the but.
They can be picked up on e bay.
Or you can buy padded cheek piece I have one on my steyr.
Saves drilling and tapping rhe rifle butt.
Or you could use a old sock and stuff it to the right height after you have washed it of course.
Have a look at this site.

No reply from D-S Solutions G. Any change of some pics and dims then? I was thinking of finding an old stock at the next arms fair and using that as a base for the cheek piece.

Will do Duncan, just not sure when. Working for the next four days plus throw in Xmas & the daughters birthday on Boxing day. Maybe next week. I don't imagine you will be wanting to work on it over the next few days anyway.
