That's 'cause I'd had a few
How about a leisurely half mile, just walking sticks, no packs.

Today I celebrated Veterans Day here in Albuquerque as a WWI French Poilu and my friend as a WWI Italian soldier. He got many thank you's from many people for coming out to remind people what this day is really about, The Armistice that took place on "the eleventh (hour) of the eleventh (day) of the eleventh (month)" of 1918 which took place in a railway carriage in Compiègne Forest on 11 November 1918. The Armistice was agreed at 5 AM on 11 November, to come into effect at 11 AM Paris time.
Wow, Duncan you really do look so great when you clean up mon ami, maybe I can try to get to France to do the celebrations there in Paris at the Tomb of the Unknows with the guys from the Poilu de La Marne and march in the parade throught the Arc de Triumph. Thank you for your service to your country
Aughnanure you look very spiffy as well and thank you for your service to your country.
I did not have my camera with me today but a few press photographers were there to take our pictures and they will be emailing me the pictures and when I gwet them I will post them up.
One sad occasion today for the men and women in the 150th Fighter Wing, NM Air National Guard was this was the last time that we will be doing Fly Over on Veterans Day with our F16 Fighters as we are going to losing them due to mission change for the unit. It will not impact my job there but not hearing them on Drill weekend will be weird.
