Yeah,
Detroit is too dirty,
Texas is too small,
St Louis is too windy and
Milwaukee is too Socialist.

As it is now, as of yesterday, Detroit stayed alive against Texas and Milwaukee, on the road, was able to even it up against St. Louis and insured a return game in Milwaukee.

It isn't about the locations in themselves. I got a friend in Milwaukee I talk to pretty often that I helped load on a dustoff once upon a time forty plus years ago. I got another friend that lives outside of Detroit that I talked to last night that retired from GM just before they took a dive and sunk his stock holdings. There is another guy I know that lives in Texas that is building a cabin on land that may still have some trees on it that didn't get scorched by recent fires. And even though I don't know anybody in St. Louis, Tony LaRussa , the manager used to play minor league ball with the A's in my home town back in 1966, and David Freese, 3rd base, I watched play college ball. I'd like to see St. Louis get to the World Series and win it. But....I'd be happy for any of my friends if their team won too.

I guess this string is really about Rugby?

Robert, I agree with most of that EXCEPT I would like to see a series of Texas and St. Louis. I'd have to root for Nolan's team just because they're American League.

Look out for the Orioles next year (if we get some pitchers).

I might have got it G, they are camping competitions. Must be how fast a team of them can pitch a tent
