The French Captain who killed his wife story is still in the papers a hundred years ago.. This time as a stupid question in a Tacoma Washington newspaper.

Here's an interesting story about the Lusitania. Seems like a hundred years ago... before she was sunk and played a big part in getting the US into WWI, there was a little flag thing that caused a little upset.

Edison predicts a hundred years ago today. About like today.... fill in the blank as to who says it..... celebrity predicts....Bullshit follows.

Well.. . he was kinda right. Germany did rebound to upset the rest of the world again. But only about 30 years later.

The British give the Turks a defeat a hundred years ago. It was written up in the papers in the US. But a couple months later began the Gallipoli campaign and the old back and forth continued on as the who was beating who story continued from week to week and month to month and year to year.
