Winners of a ladies shooting contest in Switzerland in 1889. One lost a wrist. One lost a finger. And one lost her left tit.

The "truck" wasn't really a truck, it was a cut-down 1921 Oldsmobile Model 46 Roadster. It's still in a museum
somewhere in Missouri.

I was talking tonight to a guy who I served with in Vietnam. He lives in or near Redding California. Lately, it was a earthquake centered 90 or so miles from his location. This week it's wind and flooding...but where he lives, thankfully, no mud slides. There is an active volcano in Mount Shasta and another in another direction. He is still under a drought situation even with the floods in California. Back a few years he lost his home due to forest fire and rebuilt nearby.
Everything is more expensive in California starting with gas and ending with things you eat like $8 a dozen eggs. California hates gun ownership and does everything it can to disarm everybody.
He's bought a house in Hawaii where all he has to worry about is Typhoons and volcanoes. Only thing is.... he has to do a lot of rebuilding on the new house before he moves away from California.

California was fun when I first moved there in 1980, not so much by the time I moved to AZ in 1994.
Your friend won't be much better in Hawaii as their gun laws are in the top 4 or 5 states with most
restrictive gun laws. And sadly, my state WA, is in the top 10.....
And the WA legislature is talking of adding even more crappy gun laws.......
