Thanks for the report Mick and congratulations on you and the others success's.

I'll try and get down if its on again next year, going to the Phoenix but don't know if we'll get down for the Historic arms weekend as there is no accomodation in Bisley camp and after the experiences in Woking I'm not going into a hotel in Surrey again. :evil:

Goblinslayer,

You may find you have better luck with flatbased bullets. The boattails will be more prone to keyholing (tumbling) in a worn bore than will flatbased bullets with their longer bearing surface. Cast bullets with gas checks may work well also.

Thanks for the link Mick and well done mate.

Its obvious from the scores that the different sighting systems make a big difference with optics apertures and open in that order.

In saying that some individuals can do well with anything.
