Novel!!

Post by DuncaninFrance » Mon Jul 30, 2007 2:39 am

Try some graphite, I used to use it all the time and it certainly helped to smooth the action. Easy to clean off too so inspections were never a problem. Used to blacken the foresight with an old acetylene lamp we had in the Company Shooting Box. Worked great but the smell...........http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f392/ ... e/fart.gif[/pic]

Still a little time left to enter.

Hint, the 22 score is going to be harder to beat... could use some more actual military issue caliber contestants. That contest is still wide open for average shooters who can manage a pretty good day at the range.

I'd love to get the chance to have a crack at it. Unfortunately a new job has me working Thursday through Sunday and practice days ar on Fridays and competition days are Sundays. So no go for me I'm afraid

Still it does give me the luxury to sit on the sidelines and say -

"Yeah, well, you know, if I had entered .........."

It would take to long to get here now and I don't have a .303 calibre pencil of my own :D
