Lost track of the ammount of times I was in a Puma sitting beside the GPMG, but the feckers would never let me fire it!!!
Great fun to shoot - and absolute BASTARD to clean properly afterwards though

The last time i fired one in the late 80s wasn't an enjoyable experience, we had had the company Xmas piss up on the Saturday night at Whitburn ranges and on Sunday we had boatloads of link to get rid of. After about 100 rounds i had to come off the gun as my sorry arsed hungover head couldn't stand any more and i was on the verge of hoying my ring up (again).

LOL!!! Joe I remember being at Bisley years ago and a few of us went on the piss. Got up the next morning to shoot on Stickledown and it was a nightmare. I had a massive hangover and the heat was killing me. As I recall, when we got to the bar the previous evening I discovered that pints of cider cost £0.40, hence the hangover!!!!
