A TASTE FOR THE COUNTRY........

The country that avoids war and the country that fights but has a hard time winning have been combined. The Swiss made some excellent firearms and the French made some unique and occasionally inspiring ones. We have added the Belgian and Dutch since they are neighbors.

BIT OF BRIGHTNESS NOW.........

This was taken in St Emilion in the summer. Its the only window in the church that has modern glass which I don't normally like but this is an exception!

Second one is taken on the Arcachon Bassin and was tweaked in photoshop

That one with the red and blue stained glass window is artistic. The one with the "impressionist" sea scape might have been better if you waited for the tide to come in and cover some of the seaweed on what passes for a beach :D .

What were you using as a camera? That window shot reminds me of an old Kodachrome.

A bit of age showing there Niner

I use a Canon EOS 350D SLR - 8.5 Megapixels I think it is called a Rebel in the UK. Thing is not only the camera but the software to process the image on the PC. I currently use Photoshop CS2 and Adobe Illustrator 10 to produce my images.

Two more somber images that reflect the war and it's impact here.

One to give a flavour of this time of year. Taken in Bordeaux.

And one to bring back memories of the autumn and harvest time.
