I would have shot the last 2 as well but I was trying a new load and it looked like I was pebble dashing. Back to the drawing board

I don't know what you are complaing about. You will see what really crappy is tomorrow as I expect to produce the evidence.

I took oldironsights up on an invitation to shoot on his range about an hour away from where I live.
Just to take something I hadn't fired in a while I added the reproduction 1853 Enfield to the No. 5 Enfield and the New England Westinghouse milsurps I decided to take.
Surprise... the 1853 shot best. Only by the time I got around to shooting for score I discovered I only had 9 minies left! Anyway:
1853 model Enfield shooting .577 minie balls and the last of the BP from a rusty can. 100 yards. 4 1/4 inches.
The 91 NEW Nagant... SA marked, and brought for show wasn't as impressive. 100 yards 6 1/2 inches with whatever the copper wash surplus was I had picked up from the ammo can.
I also shot the No. 5 with some of my reloads.....all over the place. No score to show.
AND MY LAST MESSUP!!
