Yes, I have bought the same part except different, over again and more than once!

Ok. It's back together. Lot cleaner. Trigger does what it is supposed to do. Striker spring seems to be doing what it is supposed to do.

Only one thing left to do...make smoke and fire.
Be sure you slug the bore. These guns are tight bored!

It's now an official wall hanger. I even got out a Gurkha cigar for the occasion.

Niner, Thanks for sharing your hard work, I really enjoyed it even though I remain a Martini-anything igmo.
Merry Christmas, Brad

Had to get a Kookrie Mk3 to go with it. I got this one that is supposed to be made by the present government contractor. "Genuine Gurkha Regimental". Made in India and to government specs.... so it was sold. I paid extra to have it sharpened. Seems they ship from India unsharpened because of some law or other. Darn thing looks like a dangerous weapon. The spine is about a quarter inch thick and the blade edge is sharp. Talk about a serious weapon, this looks like it. Probably double as an axe.
There is a company in Nepal that sells them too that is supposed to be more correct for the Nepal issue...maybe. Only problem is the shipping cost is pretty steep. This one comes from Redfordfilms and made by Windless. Same company is owned by one of the men that was part of the Nepal arsenal purchase.
It came with all sorts of information about government contract data and one piece of paper that shows some interesting specs.
Showing it next to a standard issue Isaphore No 1 MKIII issue bayonet.
