It shows that you can occasionally break the rules and still be successful. The rail provides an artificial horizon line which should never be centered BUT the expanse of water pulls it off and makes you wonder what it is she is seeing. Good job.

Good photos. Well....maybe the last one is a bit artsy fartsy for a shot with a long shutter speed that I'll grant you may have been on purpose.

It was for a monthly competition - which it won.
Theme for that month was,
Sweeping Statements
Swing that camera and create a blur, or chase a butterfly across the green. Here the only thing that counts is that the camera was moving at the moment of impact. The subject might be still as a rock or a hurdler jumping a fence, but it’s the rush, the streak, the drag that matters. Make it visual, arty or factual.
There is a theme a month and the best overall score wins, voted for by the other forum members. I won the 2011 Theme section.
