Milsurp After Hours

Progress is flagging due to other problems with the workshop and Remembrance admin.
BUT............
I have found a bayonet for it at https://ebayonet.com/contact.html ALSO............

On advice from members of the Krag Facebook site I have bought 200 8 x 56 RS Boxer cases - Mannlicher - which fit the rifle and should fireform easily.
Before I bought the cases I bought a collectors round to make sure it would fit and eject which it does.
When I checked the case stamping this is what I have.

Bayonet has arrived from the US - www.ebayonet.com - but I had to pay 25€ customs duty on it
Aint life a bitch!
Now loading up some ammo which I HOPE to shoot this Sunday.........It's our 46th Wedding Anniversary so I might not make it to the range

And FINALY! I got some ammo loaded and intend to shoot it on Sunday.

Hope you are pleased with the results. Looks like you got a good supply of ammo for a trip to the range.

First shoot last Sunday..........
Powder load is a bit sharp, will drop it to 43 grains I think although I need to fire off the rest of the first load - 40 rounds!

Good shooting. Looks like the old gun and the new made bullets work fine.
