I need to drop by here more often. This is a friendly group of guys.

Welcome aboard, Cookie Monster, and I'll try to drop by that other Enfield board you mod a bit, too.

Been so busy lately, what a drag.

(Here's a couple of my favorite Enfields since we're showing off/sharing rifles)

Nothing fancy, Top to bottom: 1917 SSA Peddled Scheme SMLE, 1943 Lithgow SMLE, 1942 Long Branch No.4 MkI*, 1945 Fazakerley No.5 Mk I.

We should all drop by a bit more often Clyde, unfortunately work/home/family/pets they all get in the way from time to time.

Nice lot of Enfields. Just waiting on some sunshine here to do some fresh pics of some of mine.

Clyde,

That is a very nice photograph---glad to see you didn't go with the white background suggestion from what's-his-name.

Keep up the good work.

Woftam,

As the sun comes to you, it goes away from us---I suspect that here on the Plains, we will be ass deep in snow far too soon.

Thanks, gents.

Trying to take some time to smell the roses for a change, myself. Finally had a day off from work yesterday - the first unscheduled day off since August- and just had a blast catching up on some gun sites, reading, cleaning guns, etc.

Finished off with a nice meal with the missus, so all in all a grand day.

Seeing as Krinko recommends a darker background, here's a few of my Savage made Lee Enfield rifles.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v154/ ... 001534.jpg[/pic]

Top one is a No.4 Mark 1/3

Next is a No.4 Mark 1* with South African acceptance markings

Below that is a No.4 Mark 1

and last but not least is the No.4 Mark 1(T) serial number 0C863, and was converted to the T configuration at Enfield and later FTR'd in 1945.

Hey Neil,

how you doing mate long time no see, so to speak. :D

Nice Enfiields, how does the 4T shoot?

I'll be shooting mine tonight on an indoor 25yrd range, worked myself up a nice gallery load. Mild as milk and negligible barrel wear.

Madainn mhath Adam,

I'm well and trust you are also. I've been lurking but not posting much :)

I've shot the 4T in the picture but as I'm limited to a 200 yard range, its difficult for me to say how well it does. I would say that I am confident with it...................let's leave it at that

At 25 yards I'd be tempted to fix bayonets and charge the target!
