Took this picture at Kabul International Airport.
My British colleagues just loaded this plane with a couple of vehicles.
I don't know much about planes, but for some reason I just like the older Russian ones.

We have had some bad weather for the lat 24 hours. Very heavy rain and winds gusting to 110kph ( 70mph ) with 130kpk ( 80mph ) on the coast. I shot this at 10:30 this morning at the entrance to the small port at Blaye. You can see the high tide mark just in front of the car, about 1mtr higher than the tide in the photo.
I spent yesterday afternoon checking our generators and running cable to the various input points of the house but for once, they were not needed
