Looks like you are making progress. 4th of July is Saturday. Maybe fire a salute. ... And yes, I know you have to cast some ammo and you are having some problems getting your right arm to click into gear still.

Maybe make the wad out of a discorded wine cork. You must have some of those laying around.

Because I have found it impossible to source some pully blocks of the right size I have decided to make my own from Meccano and Oak. The raw materials....

First attempt at a pulley block, I need to find some steel or brass rod to fit properly but the principal looks OK :roll: :roll:

Further home made bits - 4 single sheaf blocks and a ladle............just need a couple of hand spikes and the accoutrements are finished.
