Nice shooting Michael, I fancy a Rolling block in 12mm.
Fear not! your not alone in the comp.
I shot a few cards at the weekend but it will be next weekend before I get them photographed and posted.
Busy time of year for me with the Gardens and all, I'm in London for three days this week as well.
Come on where's the rest of you shooters?
Get those cards shot and posted, time is running out and you are missing some big time fun so get going!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now Adam...
...If I had a 100yds range available, I would have given it a go with some BP in a Martini, but alas...
Besides, I'm just back from SA, shooting the WLRHSA shoot, and there we did shoot out to 900m with the Holy Black Powder!

Did my shooting
Not real good.. but so what?
Took my 1903a3 and my K31. Shot milsurp ammo. 100 yards from a cement table top.
The best I can figure I shot 82 with the 03 and 77 with the K31.

Thanks for getting out there and giving it a shot, Niner. Not bad shooting. Ya just need to get out a little more often and practice and not let those rifles collect so much dust.
According to my latest look through the entries thus far submitted, the lead is held by a French MAS-36, the ugliest
rifle ever designed. I find it disturbing that this is not being challenged more aggressively. I was sure that this fact would at least animate someone like Adam to mount a challenge.

Thanks for the entry Robert, its having a go that counts and that shooting isn't bad for Military sights, they are a real challenge especially when your eyes aren't 20 years old any more.
I've got some scores to post when I get round to photgraphing the cards and its Wathgill 6C to morrow so should shoot a few more then, I've got half a dozen Swedish Mausers out of the cabinet tonight so we'll see how they do.
Couple of Enfields as well so that I don't get withdrawals.
6C Saturday, Muzzel loaders Sunday and Battlehill Monday, going to get sighted in back to 600yrds for the Phoenix next weekend, so three days of solid shooting for me this and next weekend, I am a happy bunny.

Hey AJ MASes deserve to get lucky sometimes too you know, they can't help being the grossest looking man made thing ever, it's the French that did that to the poor rifle.
Now the Lebel is a handsome piece, thats the French for you though they have an exquisite sense of beauty but absolutely no sense of ugliness.
They game isn't over yet, more scores to come and the end isn't here 'till the fat man shoots.

Jethro and Dromia, I enjoyed doing it. Wish more would participate. Seems with all the range time many guys have, they could sling a little lead for the sake of the internet shoot. But....to each his own.
I feel a lot of confidence knowing that with eye problems of a 60 year old sort and getting worse, I'm still in the ball park. And I think these shoots give us an idea of how well these old rifles really shoot still. Makes a range trip more than a singular exercise. I really wonder why more don't give it a try. Maybe they don't realize it isn't about winning. It's really about an experience.

6c was cancelled again and we were shifted onto another far less satisfactory one, no stick in targets were allowed so shooting at 100yrds was a no no.
Joe got bollocked for trying even although we weren't told that the replacement range was non stick in.
That combined with the slashing down weather meant that we left at lunch time with no cards shot.
I took the time this afternoon to get my previous targets photographed and posted so here they are.

Score,
This was a hard one to score as the weather had got the better of it it could be a 89.2 or a 90.3 or even a 91.4.
As it is uncertain then I'll register the lower for the comp
89.2

OK HERE IS MY FIRST OFFERING MY PROBLEM IS I HAVE PLENTY OF MILSURPS BUT THEY HAVE ALL GOT EITHER P/HALE REARSIGHTS FITTED OR SIMILIAR PEEP SOGHTS THAT MEANS I CANT USE THEM FOR THE COMP SO I HAVE BORROWED A NO 4 BELONGING TO JOSEYCLOSEY TO SHOOT ONE AND THE OTHER IS MY MAS.
I DIDNT DO VERY WELL WITH EITHER OF THEM. I CAN DO BETTER.
THE PICTURES ARE NOT VERY GOOD I THINK I NEED A NEW CAMERA.
