But Joe was climbing arse to get his hands on it, Jim and I couldn't bear the sight of it.

Dave, thanks for joining us, even if you had to borrow from Joe.
Joe, perfumed cesspool diver, just how long did it take you to put 12 rounds through that thing?
Adam, I very carefully inspected your P-14 target. If my eyes have not tricked me you recorded 3 x 8, 3 x 9, and 4 x 10, three of which were X-ringers. I have no problem with those hits, but your math seems a tad questionable. 3 x 8 = 24. 3 x 9 = 27 and 4 x 10 = 40. Now, 24 + 27 + 40 = 91. So as I see it, you have a 91.3 vice 90.3.
If our monsoon will stop and my broken ribs allow it, I think that I will take my Remington Model of 1917 with its superior 30-06 round out for a challenge to your Winchester P-14, if for no other reason than I am suffering severe range withdrawl.

What with one thing and another I had to leave it till yesterday to shoot a score.
Using all my natural skill and a finely tuned No1 Mk III and in idyllic conditions, I shot 51.
My natual modesty and the fact that I forgot to take the camera stop me from posting a photo.
For some reason I didn't keep the target

so in the event of a tie, I concead.
Eoin.

Well done Eoin and thanks for having a go, those No1 sights are real hard work.
No doubt you had fun shooting the old lady though.
Remember you've scored a lot better than all those that haven't had a go they get a big Zero.
