Remember that Mark Kelly gun buy thing

An Arizona gun store said Monday it was canceling a purchase by Mark Kelly. Kelly will have to buy his assault rifle from somebody else now.

Though the story link doesn't say it.... wouldn't buying a firearm for other than personal use ....even if it is going to be given to police....be illegal as a straw purchase?

Sounds to me like the gun shop wants nothing to do with him, after it hit
the press that he was going to give the gun away. Not sure about the legal
end of giving the gun away, after signing the form that says you are buying for
personal use.

And if that isn't enough to make him look like a fool, today his adult daughter
was walking her dog on a California beach and the bulldog attacked and killed a
baby seal. They couldn't get the dog to let go and finally Kelly showed up and
jerked the dog's head until it let go. Can hardly wait for the fallout over this, as
some social networks already have posts about it.

" Several people suggested on his Facebook page Tuesday that background checks
might also be considered for dogs whose owners can't control them or those
that are a threat to the public."..........
