D-Day memorabilia

I spent yesterday with my dad down at the Marina working on his dock and came back with some rather cool stuff from milestones in his life.
My dad served with the 82nd in WW2 and jumped on Sainte-Mere-Eglise on D-Day and recieved the purple heart for schrapnel wounds in his leg on D-Day +2.
He gave me the bible he was issued as a member of the 82nd along with his compass, and a bible he was given over in Normandy when he visited for the 50th anniversary in 1994.

My dad also gave me some cool stuff from his days as a Cincinnati Firefighter, his uniform dress hat, his last issued fire hat, a fire call box he was given on his retirement and a fireplug ( all 300#'s of it) which is still waiting for me to pick up. These will eventally be put on display in a place of honor in my gun room
