Gratuitous Ishapore photos

At our club we shoot we shoot dowloaded cast bullet loads and this week I got the chance of shooting another members 7.62 2A1 Ishapore.

That Parker Hale sight is worth more than the rifle. The 2A's and 2A1's are interesting rifles. A half dozen or more years ago there were a lot of them being offered by surplus firearms dealers in the US. None of them came with a rear sight like that though.

The rifle didn't come with that PH sight Robert, my mate fitted it as a aid to better shooting.
None of us are getting any younger and we need all the help we can get!
